Charles Nicolet - Bi-Compax gold-plated chronograph watch

Elegant Swiss chronograph from the 1940s branded Charles Nicolet, maison considered one of the historical ancestors of Nicolet Watch. This piece immediately charms with its very balanced aesthetic, its bi-compax dial, and the warmth of its gold-plated case.

The dial displays a very সুন্দর overall patina with lovely reflections and particularly harmonious subdials. The whole retains a great deal of charm and a true vintage presence on the wrist. The right pusher is slightly temperamental, without preventing the overall proper functioning of the chronograph.

The gold-plated case shows more noticeable wear on the back of the watch, consistent with its age and past use, but remains very visually pleasing across the middle case and lugs.

Powered by a manual-winding Landeron 42 caliber, this watch perfectly represents the elegant and accessible Swiss chronographs of the late 1930s and 1940s.
