Girard-Perregaux - Chronograph watch ref. 22209 in steel

Girard-Perregaux has been a renowned Swiss watch manufacture ever since Jean-François Bautte

signed his first watch in 1791. More than two centuries of expertise, and this 1950s chronograph is one of its finest expressions.

Reference 22209 is a 17-jewel stainless steel chronograph powered by a hand-wound manufacture movement. The silvered dial is in exceptional preserved condition for a piece of this age. The gilt arrow markers and matching hands give the whole an understated elegance that is immediately recognizable. The cherry-red alligator strap adds a touch of character that suits it perfectly.

This model is in very good technical and aesthetic condition. Case refinishing is available on request for a more mirror-like result.

Movement in excellent condition, amplitude of 298 degrees, rate: +17 seconds/day.
